Children's laughter on the beach, the waves lapping the shore, the smell of suncream and sea spray... Soak up your seaside holiday in Morbihan! Our 3* L'Atlantys campsite near Lorient across from Groix Island is the perfect place for a happy holiday on the Atlantic coast!
Ah, the Morbihan beaches!
It's all-you-can-beach this summer in Ploemeur! Just 50m from your mobile home, Fort-Bloqué Beach gives you 2 softly sloping kilometres from Ploemeur to Guidel. The beach is monitored in summer. Further south, Kerroch, L'Anse du Stole and Pérello beaches appeal to families who want relaxation, fine sand and peaceful dips. Other beaches to visit: Port Fontaine Beach (south-facing sand and rock cove) and Les Kaolins Beach (naturist section). For further information, read our article about Morbihan's best beaches within walking or cycling distance of the campsite!
At Fort-Bloqué, on the waterfront
On the coastal road between Guidel and Larmor-Plage, just a stone's throw from our campsite with direct access to the sea, Fort Bloqué is a huge sandy beach that attracts families and water sports fans alike, especially surfers! Make the most of your seaside holiday and try the water sports you've always fancied at the Surf School and water sports centre at Fort Bloqué: sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, sea kayaking, waveskiing, diving, sand yachting etc. Grab your wetsuit and dive in! From the beach you can see Keragan Island and the 18th century fort built to protect Lorient harbour. You can walk there at low tide before it turns into an island again at high tide.
Groix Island, opposite the campsite
With Groix Island on the horizon, it's hard to resist the call of the sea! Especially when it's just a 45 minute boat ride to reach the destination! Land on the little Brittany island and explore its golden beaches, little coves surrounded by cliffs and untamed landscapes. On the campsite's blog: " A day hiking to explore Groix Island! "
